The federal government is trying to attract homeowners to ‘go green’ by offering tax credits to offset the cost of their upgrades. These tax credits can be used in conjunction with one another. For example, a homeowner can replace their windows and earn the $1,500 tax credit and still be eligible to receive the 30% credit for installing solar panels.
